  • 500gms Long Grain (Basmati) Rice

  4. You need to add half-saffron dissolved in little amount of hot milk.
  5. You need to mix hot water and mix properly.
  6. You need to cook a little. You need to spread the saffron on it and cook till grains are separated and cooked.
  7. You can garnish Kashmiri pulao with cashew nuts, walnuts as well as fried onions.

Variations:

  • In garnishing, you may mix one large fried onion
  • You may add fruits of your choice such as apple
  • If you don’t like sweet in rice, you can add dry fruits and fruits
