Very simple Jeera Rice Recipe

The jeera rice is one of the Indian recipes prepared with cumin flavor. Now this recipe can be found in most of the restaurants and this recipe has more health benefits to the people, so this rice was added in the curry recipe. Some people prepare jeera rice with basmati rice and this is also one curry dishes. Preparing jeera rice is very simple and also bachelors will prepare this recipe by own. The people can prepare this jeera recipe for special guests and some special occasions. The jeera rice is big famous on the north Indian side and this recipe adds to the curry recipes. You can serve dal makhani, palak paneer, shahi paneer and malai kofta with jeera or cumin rice.

You can prepare this jeera rice in two different ways. In 1st method, you have to saute the entire spices in oil and after that rice are ripened. The second method, you have to cook the rice initially after that, you should add cumin or jeera to the prepared rice. This second method is mostly used in restaurants.

How to prepare Jeera Rice Recipe
You have to add clean basmati rice on the water and soak this basmati rice for 20 minutes and keep this rice aside. Now, boil five cups of water and add the entire spices on this heat water. Next, you should mix correct amount of salt and rice and boil this rice with low heat. You have to wait until the rice will be cooked. Now the rice and spices are splitting separately. Generally the cooked rice grains are very soft and this kind of rice will use on the restaurants. Now, you have to sewer the cold water and keep maintain this boiled rice aside. You can rinse this mixture of water and rice at the normal room temperature. This method helps to drop the boiling of rice and maintains these grains separate.

On other hand, you have to take one small pan and add oil on the pan. Now, add jeera or cumin on the heated oil. You have to fry this jeera thoroughly; otherwise, you will get uncooked condition of jeera in cooked rice. Therefore, you can wait for few minutes to fry this jeera very well. Next, you add few amounts of green chilies on this pan. Now wait for 10 seconds until you will get brown color of chilies. After that, you have to add this jeera mixture on the cooked rice or hot rice. With the help of spoon, you should mix well the entire rice. Sometimes, few rice grains will break, so you need not get worry. You have to take more care to mix this rice. After that, you can add coriander to that cooked rice and mix gently. This will give good taste and flavor to the people. Now the jeera rice recipe is ready to serve.
