Veg fried rice Recipe

No Indian food is complete without steamed rice or veg fried rice. The white rice must be cooked separately because it could not be enabled to become sticky. In order to keep the separate rice grains, you need to spread the cooked rice grains on a plate and let it cool. You need to rub oil on the rice which is already cooked and set aside till you need it. Little saffron must be taken in the small amount of water and the raisins and cashews put separately. A layer of rice must be keep in a big bowl and mix all the ingredients together. The taste of fried rice will be very delicious, if cooked with onion raita or cucumber.

Ingredients:

  • Small onion – 4, white onion – 1
  • Basmati rice-150 gms
  • Garlic – 3 pods
  • Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Sesame oil – 2 tsp
  • Vinegar – 2 drops
  • Carrot – 1
  • Green Capsicum – 1/2
  • Spring onions – 4
  • Soy sauce – 3 drops
  • Cabbage – 1/2

How to make Veg fried rice Recipe?

  1. First, you need to take rice in a cup and keep aside. You will need one and half cups of water for one cup of basmati rice. Thus you need to measure the water and rice accordingly and keep aside.
  2. After that, you need to wash and soak the white rice for ten minutes. Now, you need to drain the water properly.
  3. Take a pressure cooker and mix two cups of water and one cup of basmati rice. You need to add only two drops of lemon juice or vinegar and salt for rice.
  4. After that, you need to close the pressure cooker with the lid. You need to cook for up to two whistles completely.
  5. Once the steam comes out, you can open the lid and take the cooked rice to a big plate and spread the rice on the plate.
  6. After that, you need to add half tsp of sesame oil and add the rice smoothly.
  7. You need to cut the vegetables. You can use the onions, spring onions also. It provides a delicious taste to the rice. If you don’t have big onion, you can use white onions or small onions.
  8. Take a frying pan and add two tsp of sesame oil, add onions, then add finely chopped garlic and saute until they become translucent. After that, you need to add carrot in the mixture and saute it. Now add the cabbage and the capsicum. Saute them until the vegetables cooked.
  9. After that, you need to add half tsp of pepper powder and small amount of salt to the vegetables for taste. Then add three drops of soy sauce and add into the vegetables. After that, you can turn off the heat.
  10. You need to add the cooked rice to the frying pan and mix vegetables in the rice well.
  11. Your fried rice is ready to serve!!
