  • Water – 3 quarts
  • One (12-ounce) package broccoli florets
  • Boneless chicken breast halves – 4 (6-ounce) make sure the chicken is skinless
  • One (12-ounce) can evaporate fat-free milk
  • Flour- 1/4 cup all-purpose (about 1 ounce)
  • Salt – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Freshly ground black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • Fat-free mayonnaise – one cup
  • Fat-free sour cream – Half cup
  • Dry sherry – ¼ cup
  • Worcestershire sauce – one teaspoon
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can compressed 30% reduced-sodium 98% fat-free cream of mushroom soup, unmixed.
  • Grated fresh Parmesan cheese, should be divided – 1 cup (4 ounces)
  • Cooking spray

How to make Chicken and Broccoli Casserole recipe?

  • Heat your oven to 400°
  • Boil water in a large oven over medium-high heat.
  • Once the oven gets heated you can then add broccoli, and cook 10 minutes or until it gets crisp-tender.
  • Move broccoli to a large bowl with a slotted spoon.
  • Once the water is boiled you can add the chicken into it; and stir it for 15 minutes.
  • Move the chicken to a cutting board; cool a bit.
  • Cut chicken into small pieces, and mix the chicken along with broccoli in a bowl.
  • Mix flour, milk, pepper, salt, and nutmeg in a saucepan, moving with a whip until smooth.

  • Add mayonnaise and broccoli both together and stir gently until combined.
  • Sprinkle the remaining half cup of cheese and bake at 400° for 55 minutes or till the cheese changes its col or to brown.
