  • Green chillies, chopped fine
  • One third cup browned onions
  • Half tsp biryani masala
  • Half kg fish fillets
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • One cup grated onions
  • One Tbsp coriander powder
  • One tsp ginger paste
  • Half tsp garam masala
  • 1-1/2 tsp salt
  • One fourth cup chopped coriander leaves
  • One tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 cup hung yoghurt
  • Two tsp oil
  • One tsp garlic paste

For the rice:

  • Four peppercorns
  • Two tsp oil
  • Four green cardamoms
  • Three cups hot water
  • Half cup warm milk, color or saffron mixed
  • One fourth cinnamon
  • Half tsp salt
  • Two cup rice, washed and cleaned

How to make Fish Biryani Recipe?

  1. In order to brown the onions, you need to mix the sliced onions and oil properly together and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring twice.
  2. Then you need to remove the onions from the pan and put aside.
  3. In the same pan, you need to mix the ginger-garlic paste, jeera and grated onions and cook for about five minutes.
  4. After that, you can add the haldi, dahi, salt, dhania powder, garam masala, and chilli powder and mix well. Cook for ten minutes and stirring one time.
  5. Then, you need to add fish in this mixture and cook for five minutes.
  6. You can mix the green Chillies, hara dhania and browned onions in the dish.

Preparation of Rice:

  1. You need to make a mixture of cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon, peppercorns and oil.
  2. After that, you need to cook for two minutes then add salt, water and rice.
  3. You need to mix well and cook for 10 minutes.

Suggestion for serving the dish:

Place the fish layer at bottom of the serving plate, put the rice in it and sprinkle the milk. After that you need to cover the plate. In order to break up the fish layers, mix it and serve.
