Whole Wheat Pancakes

Ingredients
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 2 1/2 cups buttermilk
• 1 cup whole wheat flour
• 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1/3 cup wheat germ
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

How to make Whole Wheat Pancakes?

  • In a large bowl or in a food processor, mix the wheat germ or oats, baking powder, whole wheat flour, brown sugar, white flour, salt, and baking soda.
  • After that, you need to cut the butter into small pieces, and put the butter in the flour-mixture. Stir until the flour-mixture has a sand-like consistency.
  • Add the eggs and buttermilk. Stir until the liquids are completely mixed.
  • Next, you need to heat a frying pan and grease the surface with 1 tps of oil or butter. In order to form 4 inch pancakes, ladle the batter onto the surface. Once the bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes, flip them over. After that, you need to cook them on the other side for three minutes.

Oats and coconut dosa

Ingredients
• Half cup whole wheat flour
• Half cup rice flour
• Needed amount of oats
• Grated coconut
• Salt
• Jaggery
• Oil
• Chopped Green chilies
• Grated ginger
• Curry leaves which is finely chopped
• Asafoetida powder
• Pepper powder

How to make the yummy Oats and coconut dosa

  • Add the whole wheat flour, rice flour, oats powder, pepper powder, green chilies, salt, and coconut in a bowl and mix water into this mixture, and make it a batter. For best results, you need to keep this batter overnight. The batter should not be very thick. It should be similar to the regular batter that we use.
  • Cook the dosa on both the sides until you get a brown and crispy smell
    Put some coriander leaves on the top of the dosa and make sure to put necessary oil to get crispy edges.
  • No matter what maintains the texture of the dosa and serve with the suitable side dish.
  • Tomato and red chili chutney will be the best side dish for the particular recipe.

Paneer paratha

Ingredients
• 1 cup of whole wheat flour / Atta
• 1 tsps oil
• Coriander leaves or fistful mint (chopped)
• Oil for roasting
• ½ to ⅓ cup yogurt (optional, use to skip soaking time)
• Pinch of turmeric
• Water as needed
• 1 to 2 green chilies minced or paste
• ¼ tsp or chat masala powder or Biryani masala powder or ajwain or garam masala
• ½ cup of crumbled soft paneer
• Salt as needed

Instructions

  1. Take a large bowl and add flour, salt, coriander leaves, turmeric, masala powder, chilies, paneer, and then yogurt or water which ever you want to use. Mix these ingredients and make the pliable dough.
  2. Make around 6 to 8 balls out of the dough; make these balls like a chapati. Sprinkle flour on the chapati and roll smoothly in order to make a triangle shape of it.
  3. Heat a tawa and put each parantha on tawa and sprinkle the oil. Fry the parantha till golden. Repeat the procedure for other remaining parantha.
  4. In order to keep parathas soft, stack up them.
  5. Your paneer paranthas are ready to serve!
